60 MWp O&M Takeover & Recovery — Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh, India · Utilities & IPPs
Overview
Takeover of a 60 MWp plant running at 71% performance ratio, recovered to 82% within two quarters under a PR-guaranteed O&M contract.
The challenge
The plant was generating 13% below its simulation and nobody could say why. Monitoring was at inverter level only, so string outages had gone unnoticed for months, and the cleaning cycle was a fixed monthly visit regardless of soiling.
What we did
We installed string-level monitoring with alarm escalation, ran full IV curve tracing and thermographic scans to find 214 underperforming strings and 38 hot joints, and reset cleaning to a soiling-rate driven cycle. PR moved from 71% to 82.3% in two quarters, with monthly actual-versus-simulated reporting to the lender.
